No 13

Hello Everyone

The dreaded No.13 - but someone has to do it!

I have three items for you to consider. The first is an easy one; I have sent my outline Reunion CD to Steve and he has put a link to it onto the website. Please have a look and see why we are seeking input from you in the way of photos etc. Once again, Steve has done a great job on it! Don't forget to hit the "REFRESH" Button to up-date your Favourite Link to our site?

The Second one is also an easy one. The BYO Picnic on Sunday at SOUTH BANK PARKLANDS is a "Family & Friends" function, so please let us know how many, so bring along the family members and friends.

The Third is a bit more serious. Ralph & Kerri GUNTHORPE, residents of Hong Kong, (I will also include Tong Tai LEE & Chin Cher and others from Singapore) have expressed a concern regarding our views on SARS and their attendance at the Reunion and have asked me to canvas your thoughts please?

I have given a lot of consideration about it myself and am of the opinion that if they wear Ralph & Kerri Gunthorpe 'MASKS' it will be fine - maybe a little scary having seen a recent photo of Ralph! Seriously though, we would appreciate your views please?

My opinion is that the Reunion Dinner is 44 days away and we should have a much clearer indication of the extent of the problem well before then.Similarly, the airlines) carrying our classmates would not allow them on board if there was a concern about their medical condition. Then there are our immigration medical staff at the point of entry to contend with too. Given all these considerations I would be happy to see them join us for the Reunion. Please let me know what you think about it?

I hope your ANZAC Day will be as enjoyable as I intend mine to be catching up with some old mates again. Take care.

Regards
Rob & Kaye
