OCS, Portsea - Graduating Class of June 1973

Hello Everyone

With only '5 Days to Go' before the Reunion Dinner I thought I had better let you know the numbers for the weekend - As at tonight we have 38 people for the Brekkie Creek; 74 for the Reunion Dinner at the United Service Club; and, 46 for the Picnic at South Bank. What an excellent effort by you all. It will be great catching up again and I'm sure there will be plenty for us to do and say when we meet.

Don't forget to drag out your PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORIES for us PLEASE? Steve Sanderson is working wonders on the CD and we have been receiving a few photos but, WE NEED MORE!!!

Some news for you about some classmates:

Ted McPHEAT has recently had an operation on his back (a fusion of a disk) and is not well enough to join us for the Dinner. He is convalescing with Noelene on the Sunshine Coast. Get Well Soon - Ted?

Col VARIAN sends his regards from Canada, and wishes he could be with us - But, he and his new wife are enjoying the beauty of Ontario together. Congratulations to you both!!!

WHAT!! THE NEXT ONE ALREADY??? OCS REUNION 2008 - the 35th: Please put your thinking caps on for the next reunion in 5 years time - an appropriate LOCATION (what about Singapore and we can have a holiday at the same time?) and WHO will volunteer this time to be the organisers)? Let's discuss this over the weekend and see what we can come up with for a start.

Unless there is something drastic I need to convey - I will save the next "Up-Date No.18" for the Follow-Up after the weekend so we can let everyone who could not make it know how things went. Talk to you all again soon.
